ETHGlobal Buenos Aires - The Blob
Overview
At ETHGlobal Buenos Aires, we set out to reimagine how blockchain ecosystems grow. Instead of traditional grants or bounty boards, what if an AI could autonomously identify what the ecosystem needs and hire the right people to build it?
The Challenge
Blockchain ecosystems struggle to efficiently allocate resources and match community needs with skilled builders. Traditional hiring and grant processes are slow, biased, and miss the pulse of what users actually want.
The Solution
The Blob - An autonomous AI CEO that monitors Twitter/X daily, listening to user complaints, processing sentiment, and figuring out what the Ronin ecosystem needs to grow. Users join by pledging 200 RON tokens and interact conversationally with the AI. The Blob asks what the user is good at (coder, content creator, artist, etc.) and matches them with real ecosystem needs. A council of AI agents with a multisig method — where 3 AI agents each with a different perspective all review and approve user submissions — ensures fair and thorough evaluation.

The Blob's smart contract architecture uses an ERC4626 vault standard for tokenized reward distribution, with a time-based reward curve that decays from full reward to zero at deadline — incentivizing early completion. The 4-of-4 multisig approval system ensures no single AI agent can unilaterally approve or reject submissions.
Fresh off our People's Vote win at Sub0 Symbiosis, our trio carried the momentum into ETHGlobal Buenos Aires. Building an AI-native hiring system that genuinely listens to ecosystem sentiment was both technically challenging and deeply satisfying.
Outcome
Won 2nd place in the Best Consumer/AI dApp on Ronin category. The project demonstrated a novel approach to ecosystem growth through autonomous AI coordination, attracting attention from the Ronin community.
